Chappies birthday party was just really impersonal. It didnt even really seem like a birthday, it was jusrt a party. Sure, there was food and drinks and a ton of people and everything, but it was missing Chappie. Not iterally, but it just didnt seem like the party was even meant for chappy. it was like he didnt really care about Chappie, and he just wanted to have a party. this reveals that "Papa Doc" doesnt really care about Chappie. he acts like he does but he really doesnt. to me it seems like he is just thinking to himself "oh.. is so great that i found you... yeah..." he just doesnt really care at all.
I dont think that Chappie is expecting to much from him. I mean he is his real Dad. He should give him the kind of care that he deserves. myfirst impression of Evening star was that she was a really stuck up Brat. she is like the stereo typical "Im theprincess, i get everything i want" kind of girl. Chappie obviously isnt going to be into that.
